Remember when Pim did Menu for Hope III and I auctioned off New York in a Box, promising to send the winner a package filled with New York goodies? And also promising to make a video of the goodies I was going to send? Well, it's been a few months but I finally came through for the winner: Amanda P. in Seattle. Here's the video I made her and here's her Flickr page with New York in a Box pictures. Thanks for being so patient, Amanda!

Absolutely fantastic! Great choice of food items; makes we want a cheese fondue made with emmental, gruyere and raclette, you should try it! Martha Stewart has a nice recipe. But the best by far was the added concert. Bravo! Je t'aime, merci. Don't you just love a man with talent?

Ok, besides that mini blond moment everything else is cute. Thanks so much. Hungry people thank you too, I'm sure.

Wow! Amanda sure is lucky! That piano bit was the perfect icing on the cake!

It was *brilliant* -- the box & the video were a great prize. I really can't express how much fun it was to win this, both the anticipation & the actual prize.
It was icing on the cake of being able to help raise that much money for the UN World Food Programme. Count me in for the next Menu for Hope! :)
Thanks Adam!

Amanda is soooo lucky. I wish I got all that yummy cheese & salami & smoked salmon. But, at least we got to share her great video. Congrats Amanda!

Adam, great pkg! But I'm a little concerned about what Amanda will do with that salmon. No bagel???
Posted by Phoebe | June 5, 2007 8:26 PM
No H&H bagels? No pickles? Hmm...

Okay, now I'VE got a bit of a crush too :)

Way to tickle those ivories, Adam! I had no idea...

I have to agree with Doug. H&H bagels, Delancey Street pickles, and cupcakes from the bakery of choice (though I think we know which is the most known out of town) would have been excellent additions all.
Otherwise, good job.

Aww that was waaay thoughtful of you. I loved that you took the time out to choose just the right items. I'm sure she loved it! It also gave me ideas on where to go to pick up cheeses and I must check out that cookbook shop. I am a bit of a cookbook snob. Take Care!
